There are people who, like this, come out of nowhere, who leave an indelible and unique mark on the knowledge of humanity. People who develop a knowledge so vast that they advance this humanity for the better, towards greater ambitions. This is the case with Arthur C. Clark, of which it would take a complete encyclopedia just to present him.
Arthur C. Clark was a British science fiction writer, science writer, futurist, TV presenter, underwater explorer and inventor. He is best known to classical film enthusiasts as the author of the 2001 science fiction novel: A Space Odyssey, which has since become a cult film, not to mention the rest of its trilogy.
Thinker and philosopher, he easily mixed his fertile and prolific imagination with concrete scientific research such as the launch of communication satellites in 1945 or numerous inventions resulting directly from his novels.
Arthur C. Clark never hid his sexual orientation and if he was asked the question, he would blithely answer that he simply preferred men, and this is the reason why he decided to leave the Great -Brittany to go and live in Sri Lanka, a country much more tolerant of homosexuality according to him.
He was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1998 for his entire career and since Mr. Clark is a magnificent example of positive image and intelligence for our communities, it is a pleasure to grant him this blanket while by inviting readers to read the biography of this quite exceptional being.
