Notice of Conformity to the General Data Protection Regulation (European Union)
for Gay Globe Media subscribers and web services

(Montreal, May 31, 2018) – Following the application of the new European regulation since May 25, 2018, Gay Globe Media wishes to inform its subscribers and visitors that all the services offered by the media group as well as the management of its subscriber list comply with the new regulation. Here are the relevant things to know:
CONSENT: Any visitor who consults any part of Gay Globe’s website at www.gayglobe.net or www.gayglobe.us does so for free and freely. He therefore agrees to be present and may withdraw at any time;
COLLECTION AND ACCESS TO PERSONAL DATA: The Gay Globe Group does not collect any nominative or permanent information. The only information collected for statistical purposes by the Gay Globe Media server, Powweb.com, is the IP address of the visitor. However, this IP address does not allow Gay Globe to identify the visitor by name;
TERMINATION: In the case of subscriber lists, in accordance with the new rules, Gay Globe Group, through its Reachmail subscriber management service, allows anyone who wishes to unsubscribe. In the event of such a decision, when the subscriber receives an email from the Gay Globe Group, he can click on the unsubscribe link and the termination will be done automatically. He will therefore no longer receive any communication from the Group, but will still be able to access the services offered on the website;
SUBSCRIPTION: Subscriptions are automatically managed by our Reachmail service. Anyone who wishes to subscribe can do so for free and the list is automated. The IP address is collected only once to validate the subscription, it is not kept or used by Gay Globe Group;
IMMEDIATE DISABLING
Always in compliance with the new European regulation, the people who receive this notice can automatically unsubscribe in a single step by clicking on the « unsubscribe » link contained in this email.
