Justin Bieber Facing Himself: A Career on Hold, a Life in Peril

The dizzying downfall of singer Justin Bieber continues and shows no signs of hitting bottom. At least, that’s the image he projects, appearing publicly disorganized both mentally and physically, whether through his body language or his interactions with fans, paparazzi, and even his wife.

One unmistakable sign: the anger, frailty, and despair visible on his face, as he seems to no longer find any joy in living.

This kind of body language is often observed in individuals struggling with addictions to hard drugs such as crack, methamphetamine, or other fentanyl-based substances. Unfortunately, over time, the body suffers visible damage, and the innocence of the past gives way to an aggression that relentlessly haunts the victim — in this case, Justin Bieber.

Irreversible damage?

Hard drugs completely disrupt the brain. At first, they often bring an intense sensation of happiness, power, or freedom. But this pleasure is artificial and short-lived. Very quickly, the brain adapts to these false rewards and stops naturally producing the chemicals that regulate mood, like dopamine and serotonin. Without these essential molecules, everything becomes heavier: sadness, fear, and inner emptiness.

Little by little, the person feels a constant sense of unease. The pleasure that once came so easily becomes almost impossible to find without using. This creates a vicious cycle where the urge to escape pain drives further consumption, causing even greater damage to the brain. Over time, anxiety takes hold, making each day harder to face. Depression follows, like a shadow slowly swallowing up motivation, self-esteem, and even the will to live. This process is often silent, settling in before the person even realizes how deeply trapped they are.

What future lies ahead for him under these conditions?

It is clear that Justin’s career is faltering. A quick look at Ticketmaster’s website (https://www.ticketmaster.ca/justin-bieber-tickets/artist/1369961) reveals that the singer has no concerts scheduled for 2025, which is highly unusual.

The same is true on his official tour site (https://www.justinbiebermusic.com/tour/), where no dates are announced. In 2022, he canceled his global « Justice » tour for health reasons, raising concerns about his future in the music industry. Since then, he has remained relatively quiet musically, with no major album releases. However, rumors of a possible comeback in 2025 have been circulating, though nothing has been officially confirmed.

In the meantime, Bieber seems to be focusing on his personal life, notably his family and his health. He has also launched a new brand, Skylrk, after stepping away from his previous venture, Drew House.

We all know — or at least those who have been close to people struggling with such substances — that a return to a normal life is nearly impossible, given how deep the damage can run. It would be wise to give him some peace rather than continually hounding him, as often seen on social media. People in the depths of such struggles, when relentlessly pursued, can be driven to suicide, act out, or fall victim to a fatal overdose. This is a reality that must not be overlooked.

For now, Justin Bieber has not announced his retirement from music.
