Editorial #146 – Magazine Gay Globe

Roger-Luc Chayer

We are fortunate to live at a time when things, in the medical field, go very quickly and where discoveries follow one another at a breakneck pace. This is the case with COVID-19 vaccines, but this same research and many others are yielding very interesting results in the face of a scourge that has decimated the gay community for 40 years; I’m talking about the Human Immunodeficiency Virus, HIV.

In this special edition dedicated to World AIDS Day, we invite you to take a research trip around the world and tell you about recent victories against HIV.

The subject is also important because it is not just about LGBTQ communities, but families, friends, employers and all of society that revolves around people with Alzheimer’s disease. Let’s not forget that this is the only potentially fatal disease spread through love and sexuality. Hope in the face of this disease is as important as treatments and in this edition we are going to give it plenty.

CORRECTION: In our investigation of the company Rugs.ca, published in the previous issue # 145, we told you about the help given by our friend and advertiser, the owner of L’Heureux Bouddha, Alain Poloni. A mistake was made in her last name and we apologize for it. Sincerely!
