VISIT OF THE SAUNA CARPEDIEM

Following the health crisis of the past two years, many businesses have been transformed. Some have disappeared, others have redone either a mission or a look. This is the case of Sauna 3481 in St-Hubert, on the South Shore of Montreal, which has become Sauna Carpediem.
It has not only changed its name, it has had a little facelift which makes this establishment for men one of the best maintained and pleasant. It still offers a long list of services such as a charming whirlpool bath, a dry sauna, a steam sauna, a shower area, a relaxation lounge, a snack bar, private rooms, double rooms (suites) and even private parking. at the back of the establishment located at 3481, Montée St-Hubert, in St-Hubert.
Another distinction specific to this sauna is the way customers are treated. The reception is reputed to be very pleasant and courteous, I myself was able to observe this during my visit in mid-August, but it is in the rooms that we see the difference with other establishments in the same kind in Quebec.
The « chambrettes » are larger than those in Montreal, and in each one, it is the norm, there is a television, a mirror, a box of tissues and several other practical services on a small tablet, which is very good thought let’s face it!

Always during my visit, I was able to take a tour of the establishment which is different both in atmosphere and in style. The living room is huge with television and beautiful big sofas to relax, the snack area is like a small restaurant dining room with its modern fireplace. There are two separate sections of rooms and the spa section is completely the opposite of the trade, grouping together the very clean dry sauna, the steam sauna in beautiful tiles and granite stone I believe, the modern jacuzzi area whose water is completely clear and at a temperature that allows you to stay there as long as you want and the shower area, a little more private, with its four showerheads! There is modern but certainly not intrusive background music and finally, in the center, an open room with lockers, bathroom and other services.
During my visit, the varied clientele, ranging from 30 to 60 years old, was very open to conversations. If you want to get out of the ordinary and out of Montreal, go to the Carpediem, we even accept trans customers on Wednesdays, which is remarkable and demonstrates an open-mindedness that should be highlighted.
