Gay Globe, I was shocked to hear your findings in the two articles on prostitution on pages 4 and 5 and discover that so many children are involved in human trafficking, right here in Quebec, without the authorities do not intervene. Why? Why let this happen if the laws are there?

(Rachelle L., Westmount)

Hello Rachelle, I know the answer regarding the prostitution of adults. In Canada, prostitution is not illegal and police intervention only targets clients in public solicitations on the Web and in public places. However, on the issue of children, the police and the authorities in general, are stingy comments to explain that so many young people engage in these activities without any hassle.

There may be the Directorate for the Protection of Youth who can intervene in the case of sexual abuse of minors but again, it requires a report. Who will do it, the customer? Forget it, the miner? With the money it pays him, forget that too. A member of the family? Often people are afraid to report abuse for fear of losing the young person’s trust. If you see any prostitution activity involving minors, you may still contact the 9-1-1 or police station in your municipality to request an intervention. Good luck!

I am a former customer of the sauna Oasis and I have not been there for a few years because of my personal situation. Reading your article I rediscovered the place and I really feel like going but about this Oasis circuit, is there a trainer or an employee on site who is there for us guide or tell us the routine?
(Alexandre F., Montreal)

Hi Alexander, I’m not in the secret of the Gods for the technical elements of this health routine proposed and launched by the oasis but from what I know, there is no staff member assigned to the health circuit education since it is easy to follow if you keep the article page with you. I also think that the Oasis is preparing a poster

placed near the baths so that customers can follow the circuit without having to bring paper with them. The tour should also be available on the Oasis Facebook page, to follow …

I just can not believe everything former Mayor Coderre did to kill the city of Montreal. He may not have done it voluntarily, but I’m sure he did, because he had to intervene to secure the Village, a small mandate, and that he did not do anything as mayor of the borough. He abandoned the Village and even used it for his race electric formula, as if we were no more than a no man’s land in his eyes. He absolutely must not return to the town hall in my opinion.
(Nancy L., Montreal-Village)

Having treated the Village, which is one of the most socially troubled neighborhoods in Canada, and having been borough mayor, Mr. Coderre can only live in shame, and that will remain in the story!

I really like the formula of your magazine with its regular columns that follow each edition. I feel very attached to your publication, thank you for continuing.

All the fun is for us Sam, good reading!
