The logic of Elon Musk: creating descendants to save the world, or to dominate?

For many people, the desire to start a family is deep and rooted in a logic of lasting love. Parents want to have children to pass on a part of themselves, experience a unique and profound relationship, and extend their history. They often seek meaning in their lives, a lasting emotional bond, and the joy that comes with the awakening of a child. The idea of guiding a human being, watching them grow, learn, and love, gives a sense of continuity and accomplishment. Some find a natural drive in this, while others see it as a life project.

However, throughout human history, what seems to be an innocent and noble project has, at times, turned into madness of grandeur. We remember that in Nazi Germany, the goal was to develop a superior Aryan race to populate the country with beings possessing similar characteristics while easily excluding others.

What is an Aryan race?

The concept of the Aryan race comes from a pseudo-scientific theory of the 19th century that claimed a superior human group existed, derived from Indo-European peoples. Popularized and distorted by racist ideologies, especially by the Nazi regime, this idea linked the Aryan to an idealized image of purity, intellectual, and physical superiority.

In reality, it is not a valid biological or anthropological concept, but an ideological construction used to justify policies of exclusion, domination, and persecution. Today, this notion is rejected by the scientific community and considered dangerous, as it is based on fundamentally racist foundations.

Elon Musk wants a « legion » of children to save humanity

Already under international scrutiny for performing a Nazi salute shortly after Donald Trump’s election in the United States—a gesture he has always denied as having any ideological connotations—Musk now reignites the conversation by declaring his intention to populate the Earth with children, a true legion of babies, to, as he says, « save humanity, » and all this with his own sperm…

Save humanity from what, you may ask? No one seems to have a clear answer to this question. But if we push Musk’s logic a little further, imagining that he manages to father 30, 40, or even 60 children in his lifetime, who will then reproduce in turn over a period of one hundred years—about four generations according to known human reproductive models—this could theoretically lead to around 2,400 descendants.

Approximate calculation:

Generation 1 (children of the man): 60
Generation 2 (grandchildren): 60 × 3 = 180
Generation 3 (great-grandchildren): 180 × 3 = 540
Generation 4 (great-great-grandchildren): 540 × 3 = 1,620

Total approximate descendants in 100 years:
60 + 180 + 540 + 1,620 = 2,400 descendants

We already know the havoc that a single Elon Musk can wreak today, not to mention the coldness and cruelty he can exhibit. Now imagine 2,400 other Musks, a hundred years from now, trained and educated with a mission to dominate. Isn’t this, ultimately, a modern version of the Aryan model advocated by a certain despotic leader from the past?

And what would he do with autistic, disabled, or homosexual children?

Another question that must be asked is purely scientific. It is highly unlikely that all of Musk’s descendants will be exactly like him, endowed—according to him—with superior intelligence. What he constantly fails to mention is that he himself is autistic. So, what would he do with children born of his seed who might have vulnerabilities? Disabled children, those with learning disabilities or personality disorders that would prevent them from integrating normally into society? And worse, what would he do with the young born of his reproduction who would be homosexual, or even more taboo in his eyes: transgender?

Elon Musk publicly revealed that he has Asperger’s syndrome, a form of autism that is part of the neurodevelopmental spectrum. He made this announcement in May 2021 during his appearance on Saturday Night Live, where he said, « I’m the first person with Asperger’s to host SNL… or at least the first to admit it. »

Would he segregate these children? Would he confine them to specialized centers, isolated from the world, to hide what he would consider the « failures » of his defective genetics? Would we then see the return of concentration camps populated by the « failed » descendants of Elon Musk?

Do you not think that this logic tragically echoes Nazism?
