Ethics
The Gay Globe Group is a media organization officially registered with the Quebec Business Registry since May 1998. Gay Globe adheres to the highest ethical standards in its publications. Although there is no legal obligation in Quebec for journalists to form associations, the province’s primary professional body is the Fédération Professionnelle des Journalistes du Québec (FPJQ), which offers a code of ethics on its website. Gay Globe voluntarily follows this guide as a principle and uses it as a reference for managing its publications.
Regarding specific publications, there is no automatic right to respond. However, any individual concerned by an article may contact Gay Globe via email to provide additional information relevant to the topic, which may help correct or adjust the original content.
